The College strives to provide and maintain an accessible environment on PolyU HHB Campus and PolyU WK Campus for students and campus users with specific physical needs. The two campus buildings were built in strict accordance with relevant statutory accessibility requirements. Also, from time to time, renovation and upgrading works will be carried out to improve their accessibility in accordance with PolyU’s guidelines.
All destinations on the two campuses are wheelchair accessible. However, due to security concerns, direct access by passenger lifts to 9/F (CPCE Libraries) and 11/F (Student Computer Centre) on PolyU HHB Campus is restricted. Registered students shall seek assistance from HKCC or SPEED for special arrangements.
All lifts on the two campuses are equipped with braille buttons and audible system, and all escalators on PolyU WK Campus are equipped with audible system. Other major accessibility facilities are listed below for reference:
